General Information Inuyasha is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. Firstly premiered in Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in 1996, it was completed on June 2008, with the chapters concluded in 56 volumes of tankobarerereron by Shogakukan publisher. Inuyasha was adapted twice as a television series on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV in Japan. Four feature films and an original video information have also been released. Other merchandise include video games and a light novel. Synopsis Kagome Higurashi, a teenager from Tokyo was transported to Sengoku era through a well in her family’s shrine.
